2 Walmart Deals

Here are 2 good deals I snagged at Wal-Mart.

Huggies flushable wipes for $1.64 - there was a coupon out recently for $3.00 off 2 making them .14 each. I like to keep these in the diaper bag - since the package is small. (These are in HBA near the Pharmacy - not in the baby department)

Hellman's mayo - on sale at Kroger through Wednesday for $2.49. I price matched the Kroger's price - but Wal-Mart's had a bonus size jar and I had a coupon for $1.00 off 2 making them only $1.99 a jar. I found these jars in the seasonal grocery aisle - not on the mayo aisle.

Wal-Mart Coupon Policy

I often have questions asked of me during Savvy Saving programs regarding the Wal-Mart Coupon Policy.

It seems like some stores are refusing to accept Internet Printable coupons. This is NOT the corporate policy of Wal-Mart.

Here is the policy directly from the Wal-Mart website:

Wal-Mart Coupon Policy

Wal-Mart accepts the following types of coupons (see guidelines below):

  • Manufacturer coupons (Cents Off)
  • Free merchandise (or manufacturer's Buy-One-Get-One-Free) coupons
  • Store coupons
  • Pharmacy (Advertising and Promotional) coupons
  • Internet coupons
  • Soft drink container caps

The following are guidelines and limits:

  • Wal-Mart only accepts coupons for merchandise we sell and only when presented at the time of purchase.
  • Coupons should have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Wal-Mart will not accept expired coupons.
  • Internet coupons should be legible and say "Manufacturer Coupon." There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and a scannable bar code.
  • Only one coupon per item is permitted.
  • Use of 40 or more coupons per transaction will require approval by Customer Service Manager.

You can print a copy of the policy here.

I suggest, if you shop often at Wal-Mart, that you keep a copy of this in your coupon box or folder - in case you have a problem.

Wal-Mart Deals and Freebies

I don't normally shop often at Wal-Mart. Because they do double coupons, I usually do better at other stores like Meijer and Kroger. But this week, it seems that there are some good deals going on at Wal-Mart.

I need to replenish my bar soap stock, it's starting to get low.

I saw it is a FREE deal on Money Saving Mom.

If you are not currently checking Money Saving Mom's website daily for great deals, I highly recommend that you do! Don't feel that you have to go and get every good deal out there, just watch the deals and wait for the BEST deals, like free or money makers.

Here is another post that Money Saving Mom has with a big list of good Wal-Mart deals and coupon match-ups.
