Kmart - Summer Clothing at Rock Bottom Prices!

I stopped in Kmart yesterday to pick up some shin guards for my 6 year old soccer player. When I was in there I noticed quite a few clearance racks of clothing!

I love to buy clothing for the next year when it is on clearance - you can get better prices than Goodwill and it's new!

There was a ton of men's short sleeved shirts and swim trunks - for around $2 -$4 each! The boys swim trunks were $2.30 and the matching shirts $1.20 - you just can't beat that!

I shopped at the Super Kmart on East Washington Street - it is just west of the 465 Washington Street exit on the east side of Indianapolis.

Here is what I bought for $21.00. the full retail value was over $100.00 so it was around 80% off the regular price.

Kmart Super Double Coupon Sale - Update

I just received the weekly grocery ad for the Super Kmart on East Washington Street. They will be continuing the double coupon sale through Tuesday 9/8/09. They are also accepting 25 coupons per day. There is a minimum $25 purchase - before coupons.

Kmart Super Double Coupon Sale -Thru 9/5/09

Kmart is once again having a Super Double Coupon Sale. Money Saving Mom is reporting that rumor has it that this may be the last one of 2009.

The rules look to be the same as the last sale. Only 10 coupons per day, 4 identical coupons and you must purchase $25 before coupons are taken off. Check with your store to make sure they are participating.

Kmart - Today's Trip $6.87

I was out running some errands and so I stopped by Kmart to snag some Double Coupon deals.



















Here is what I got for $6.87. I saved over $25. I am glad to be stocked back up on cat food. I stopped by a regular Kmart today - not the Super Kmart. I found that the Cat food was on sale there for $3.99 - making it free with a coupon. The Super Kmart's price was $4.99 making it $1.00.

If you have any of the Kraft coupons left - that were printed a few months back you can get some good deals with them. BBQ sauce was a $1.11 money maker (it was $1.00 and it doubled even though the sauce was only.89) and the Mac & Cheese was only .50 cents.

Kmart Super Double Coupon Sale - Trip #1 $ 4.62

I made a quick trip to Kmart today for my 10 coupons worth. In some ways it is easier since they made the 10 coupon rule - I pull my coupons ahead of time, along with a few back-ups and can run in and out in a few minutes. It also means multiple trips, but since I live only about 5 minutes away from the Super Kmart, that is not too bad!

Here is what I got today for $4.62 - I saved over $29.00!

I had coupons for everything except the wipes - which were $1.00. I thought I'd try them to see if they were okay for the diaper bag.

Up to $100 in Kmart Gift Cards - with transferred RX's

On the back of this week's grocery circular from Kmart there is a coupon for up to $100 in Kmart Gift Cards $25 for each transferred RX. There are some qualifications with this such as the reimbursed insurance value of the RX must be more than the gift certificate amount. I would expect that the Pharmacist can check on this before you fill the RX.

This could be a really big money saver if you have monthly prescriptions!

Kmart Double Coupons 8/16-22/09

Kmart is having their double coupon sale next week. They will double coupons up to $2.00. They seem to always add a new stipulation every time they run this sale! So, here are the current rules:

10 Coupons per customer per day

1 coupon per item

4 of the same items with double coupon

Must purchase $25 of grocery and drugstore merchandise

Kmart Super Double Coupon Sale - Last Day

Just a reminder that today is the last day for the Super Double Coupon sale at Kmart. When I was there yesterday there were a few items restocked that had been out before!

I went to Kmart today to pick up some deals with the Double and Triple Coupons. The rules are the same as the last few sales. I have them listed for you at the end of this post.

Kmart Super Double and Triple Coupons!

Here is the ad that I received at home this weekend! DOUBLE and TRIPLE coupons. Really, I cannot remember the last time I saw Triple coupons in Indianapolis, it has been a loooong time.

So search your coupon box for all those .75 cent coupons and see what you might get for free!

Kmart - Cheese for .88 Cents

Kmart has an excellent deal on Cheese! Only .88 cents for 8 ounces.

The sale ends Tuesday 4/28/09, so if you live near a Super Kmart, or one that sells groceries stock up! There is a limit of 6 per transaction.

Cheese freezes well, so buy some extra and throw it in the freezer. I believe that this is the lowest price I have ever seen for cheese. I'm definitely filling the freezer!

While you are there, don't forget about double coupons. The ad for the Washington Street Super Kmart states the Double Coupons go until Tuesday, a cashier told me that she thinks they are going until May 9th - so I will try to keep you posted if I see that they continue past tomorrow!

Super Shopping Day! $300 for only $73 OOP

Today I did some major shopping. There were some great deals out there and I took advantage of the Super Double Coupon sale going on at Kmart.

I normally try to limit my shopping to 1 store a week plus CVS and Aldi if needed. But, because my hubby was off today and I had some extra help, I decided to tackle a bit more.

We started the day with FREE BREAKFAST at Chick-fil-a! Then across the street to Meijer for a few items. I realized when I was shopping, that I would do much better with some of the items I wanted at the Cumberland Meijer, because they have a much better coupon policy. So, I decided to wait on some items. One of the best deal I got at the Southport Meijer was the Duncan Hines Cake mixes, priced at .96 with a -.35/1 coupon (doubled -.70) for only .26 a box. (These were $1.25 at the Cumberland Meijer)

After that, we went home and I left the napping baby at home with daddy and went out with my 5 year old. We went to Kmart Super Center and then to Meijer in Cumberland (East Washington Street).

Kmart has cheese for only .88 for 8 ounces! That is a major stock-up price! I will be going back for some more. There was a limit of 6.

I went a bit over budget for the week, but I should be able to make that up next week, since I am really well stocked up now.

The picture above is of a lot of my purchases, but not everything. In the end, I was able to get nearly $300 of groceries and supplies for $93. I will submit a $20 rebate for the turkey taking my OOP for today down to only $73.

If you cut out the Unilever rebate a few weekends ago, don't forget about it! There are sales on a lot of the items this week. I got Ragu for less than .70 a jar at Meijer (with coupons). Also, I got free Ponds face cloths at Kmart. Both of these items will count towards my required purchases for the rebate.

Thanks to the wonderful blogs who helped me snag these deals! Before I go shopping, I just go to the blog I want and print what's on sale with the coupon match-ups. I take the printout with me. It's easy and fast! Then I can look at the store for the items I want and pull my coupons there.

I have found that the Super Kmart store on East Washington Street always participates in this sale. I would suggest that you call your store before going to shop!

I have learned a few things from these sales too:

• Always watch as they scan your coupons! (Make sure they double!)
  
• If the coupon is for more than 1 item it will only double up to the price of 1 item.
• Do multiple transactions if you have more that 4 of one item.
• Pull the high $ coupons to the front of your envelopes so you can look easily.
• The Super Kmart store on East Washington Street accepted internet printable coupons during the last sale!

Kmart and Kroger Shopping

Tonight I made what I thought would be a quick trip out to Kroger and then Kmart to snag a few items.

I went to Kroger first to get a few of the things in the Mega Deal sale.  

For $7.01 I was able to get:

1 Quaker Quakes

2 Mini Wheat Cereal

1 Shedds Country Crock

2 bags Armor Meatballs

3 boxes Betty Crocker Potatoes

1 Hamburger Helper Cheesy Enchilada (There was a coupon on one of the boxes of potatoes for free Hamburger Helper if you bought 3 BC potatoes)

1 Kroger baby cups

1 Colgate toothpaste

For those of you who might not be big fans of Hamburger Helper - the cheesy enchilada is great!  I make it up and then add a can of black beans, roll it up into tortillas and put some cheese on top and then brown in the oven.  Really good and really cheap! 

Sorry you can't see the stuff too well!  Molly was having a blast putting the groceries all back into the bag!

Next I stopped at Kmart,  I only picked up a few things but it took me awhile to check out.  I won't give you the whole loooong story but I do have good news for you!

Kmart is now accepting Internet Printable Coupons!  My friend Elizabeth gave me the heads up and so I went and gave it a test tonight.  There were clear signs in the store stating they would accept them - except for free items and for razors.

The Internet Printable Coupons also doubled for me!  Well - sort of.  I used 2/ $1.00 off 2 Progresso coupons I printed off Coupons.com,  I also had 2/ $2.00 off 4 Progresso coupons but they would only go up to $2.69 instead of $4.00, so I decided not to stock up on the extra cans of soup.  Also, the soup was clearly marked 2 for $3 on the counter, but was ringing up at $2.69, so that took awhile to get straightened out.

The little boxes of Lipton tea are $1.19 and there were some .50 and .60 coupons out recently, so I got the last 2 boxes of that - sorry if you'd like some too!  Maybe they'll restock next week?

The Kmart Double Coupon Sale is going on through Tuesday, March 17th.  If there are any good coupons this weekend, I will be going back again next week - and will be checking the IP's more thoroughly now that I know they double.

Coupons will only double to the current price of 1 item (This is the reason my soup coupon only doubled to 2.69)

Kmart Super Double Coupons Sale - up to $2 coupons!

Kmart is running it's Super Double Coupons Sale March 11-17.  I will post more later.  Check with your Kmart before shopping.  The Washington Street store near the exit of 465 on the Eastside, usually participates.

Kmart Super Double Coupons Sale - up to $2 coupons!

Kmart is running the Super Double Coupon sale 1/14/09 thru 1/17/09.  You can get coupons with a face value up to $2.00 doubled!  That's $4.00 off!  If you need  to stock up, this is a good sale to do it at!

I have 2 receipts here from previous sales at Kmart. On 1 I paid $2.74  for $45.71 in items and on another I paid .35 cents for $9.62 in items.  Kmart tends to be more expensive for some items so I suggest you go there and only get the things you will get for free or at a  substantial  discount.  But if you stick to your coupon items only, you can really do well.

Washington Street Super Kmart has always participated in these sales,  but I recommend you call your store ahead of time to check.

Kmart's Coupon Rules:

• 4 identical coupons/ items per order
  
• 25 coupons total per customer per day (this is a change)
• No Internet printed coupons
• Coupon only doubles to the price of the item - no overages

I have learned a few things from these sales too:

• Always watch as they scan your coupons!

(For example $2.00 off 2 and 1 item costs $2.00 - it will only give you $2.00 instead of the $4.00 you have to pay to use the coupon.)  Ask them to correct the amount and give you full credit for the double coupon.  They have always been able to do this if I ask nicely!

Kmart -Apples .50 cents / lb.

In the Kmart Sale Ad for 1/7 -13/09 they are advertising an 8 lb bag of Red Delicious Apples for $3.99.  My son loves Red Delicious!  Since we are almost out of produce, this might be worth a stop at the Super Kmart.

Also:

4-lb bag Naval Oranges = 1.99

5-lb bag of Grapefruit = 1.99
