Disney Store Closing - Greenwood Park Mall

The Disney Store at the Greenwood Park Mall is closing on or before 2/20/10. Currently all items are 25% off the lowest marked price.

























I was able to get this pretty little dress for only $15.00. The retail price is $49.50. As you can see, my little girl was very pleased with her "Princess" dress. If you get one of these dresses - they seem to run a bit small. My daughter wears a 24 months and this dress is a 2/3.

























She was very excited that it matched her dolly's dress!

An added bonus is that our floor is now "sparkly" - even without mopping =).

Great Clips Hair Cuts $5- $6

I received an email from a reader letting me know that Great Clips at 86th and Ditch is doing haircuts for only $4.99. She also said that all the Indianapolis area Great Clips are going to be doing cuts at $5.99 starting this Friday 1/30/10.

I do not know how long this special will be going on - but that's a great deal if you need a hair cut.

Central Indiana Goodwill Stores 50% off THIS SATURDAY - June 20, 2009

This Saturday Goodwill of Central Indiana is having a 50% off sale at all the locations except the outlet locations.

All central Indiana Goodwill stores will have a 50 % Off Storewide Sale on Saturday, June 20.

All 50% Off Storewide Sales, which offer half off all used goods at 41 central Indiana stores, run from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. New goods are not included in the sale, and the sale is not valid at the Goodwill Outlet Stores.

When I went to this sale previously they were bringing merchandise out while I was there - later in the day and I got a beautiful solid wood desk for only $25. We used it until we had our daughter (and had to make the office a bedroom) and then I sold it at a yard sale for $50!

If you go to the Goodwill 50% off sale expect to wait in line to check-out. It is normally very busy during the sale. I usually send someone (hubby or mom) to get in line awhile before I am actually ready to checkout - that saves some time.

S & K Menswear - Going out of Business - THIS WEEKEND

Today while shopping at the Castleton Mall, I saw that S & K Menswear is going out of business. This is the only place that I buy my husband's dress shirts and so I went in to see what the prices were like. The items were 60% off and more.

I spoke to one of the managers and he said that Sunday would be the last day for them. There were still a reasonable good selection of dress shirts and ties left.

So, if your husband uses dress clothes I suggest you check out S & K tomorrow. The manager said that the locations in Greenwood, Avon and Carmel were also closing.

Weekend Activities
