IMCPL Book Sale 2/11-13/10

This weekend is the IMCPL Book Sale. They have added a new Thursday sale day. The sale will be open 2-7:30 on Thursday. I think that it would not be busy right at 2 because most people are working or at school.

Friday from 12-7:30 is the 1/2 price day and Saturday is the $5.00 a bag sale! The sale will be from 10 -4 on Saturday. Expect it to be busy in the morning!

Take your biggest bag and have some fun!

You cannot take strollers or carts into the center, so keep this in mind. I suggest taking a heavy duty canvass bag. I have a bag with wheels, that is not a "cart" so I use that when I go.

IMCPL Book Sale 2/5-7/2010

This weekend there is a Library Booksale at the Library Services Center. This is a great place to find books for yourself or your children.

I like to have books available for the kids to look at, and if I've only paid .50 or $1.00 for the book, I don't feel bad if a page or two gets ripped while they develop a love for books.

As you see, we love books!

First thing Saturday it is quite a crazy zoo! It thins out a bit as you get toward lunch time. Several times, I have dropped Hubby and kids off right up the street at the Children's Museum
and went down to do my looking and then come back to join them when I was finished.

1/2 Price Book Sale Today - IMCPL Library Service Center

Today there is a 1/2 Price used book sale downtown at the Library Services Center.  This is a great way to get your kids books and a great resource for homeschoolers too!  

I stocked up at this sale when my 5 year old was a baby.  He loved books, and still does, but I didn't fret too much if he tore a page in a book I had paid $.50 for!  I felt I could let him enjoy the pages and pictures and not be concerned too much if a few of the books didn't survive.

The book sale will be from 12 - 7:30.  And the Library Services Center is located at 2450 N. Meridian St.,  Indianapolis, IN 46208

Weekend Activities

Today and tomorrow there is a book sale at the Library Services Center in Downtown Indy.  It will be open from 10-5 on Saturday and 12-4 on Sunday.  For more details you can check out my earlier post here.

Festival of Cultures Warren Branch (East)  9701 E. 21st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229 Sat., Nov 15, 2008 1:30 pm - 4:15 pm Age Level: Families Families are invited for a festival of music, storytelling, crafts, food and community information to celebrate the area's various cultures.

IMCPL Book Sale

This weekend begins the November Book Sale at the Library Services Center. This is a great place to pick up books of all kinds! I have found great children's books, story tapes, homeschooling resources, large print books for Grandma, recipe books and so much more.

Pricing for the books:

Adult Hardbacks $2.00

Juvenile Hardbacks $1.00

Oversized Paperback Books $1.00

Paperback Books $.50

Juvenile Paperbacks $.25

Records, Tapes & CDs $.50 - 1.00

DVD's $2.00

If you want a better deal, wait for next weekend when they have the 1/2 price day on Friday and $5.00 a bag day on Saturday - but more on that later!
